(2) SCCA CHALLENGE:

The SCCA/Car Club Challenge is open to all car groups in the Midwest. Traditionally many SCCA Regions (OVR, NWOR, SCR, Misery Bay) along with various car clubs such as Corvette, Porsche, and Miata come to compete for whom has the best group. Every year a big trophy is passed onto that year's winner and their name and date are engraved on it. $500 is also awarded to the winning group.

RULES:

1) You must be an official member of the specific club or region you are competing for. Bring your membership cards.

2) Each club or group will select it's top drivers to form their team to compete in the "challenge heat".

3) A team must consist of 10 drivers. If you your group has less drivers, the remaining times will be filled in with the slowest time from your team.

4) The challenge is run with SCCA rules, classing, and teams will compete with the current PAX index's.

5) All the times from each team are calculated with the PAX indexes, then added together, and the team with the lowest total combined time wins.

COST - $30 for any car club member with a current membership. $35 for all other

(3) RULES FOR JULY 4TH:
Rules for July 4th Challenge

Entrants - The challenge is restricted to 120 total entrants.  Cost per entrant is $50 for NORA members and $65 for non members.

Format - Drivers will be divided into 3 groups of 40.  Each group will receive 6 runs.  All timing and scoring is done on the PAX index system so everyone is competing against everyone within each group.  The top 10 drivers by PAX from each group will move on to the final round.  Previous round times do not carry over to the final round.  The final 30 drivers will receive 4 more runs and compete for the top 10 trophy spots.

Work Order - We will use the Run/Work/Rest format for this 3 heat event.  Volunteers are always needed to work the final round and as always we will have special drawing and prizes for anyone the volunteers.
